- Review process
All GAERPSY journals employ a double-blind peer-review process. When invited to review:
- You will receive an invitation with the manuscript title and abstract.
- Confirm your availability and declare any conflicts of interest.
- Access the full manuscript through the OJS reviewer portal.
- Complete your review using the journal's peer review form.
- Submit your recommendation and comments within the agreed timeframe.
- Review criteria
Reviewers are asked to evaluate manuscripts based on:
- Relevance to the journal's scope and aims
- Originality and significance of contribution
- Methodological soundness and rigour
- Clarity, coherence, and quality of writing
- Adequacy of literature review
- Validity of results and conclusions
- Compliance with ethical standards
- Scoring system
Reviewers score manuscripts on a four-point scale: Excellent (5), Good (4), Moderate (3), Weak (2), and Poor (1). A manuscript with an average score below 4 may be recommended for rejection.
- Ethical responsibilities
- Treat all manuscripts as confidential documents.
- Provide objective, constructive feedback without personal bias.
- Disclose any conflicts of interest and decline the review if necessary.
- Do not use information from reviewed manuscripts for personal advantage.
- Do not use AI tools to process or analyse manuscripts under review.
