Submission Guidelines

General Information

The submission of an article and supplementary materials, and all communication, reviews, and other stages of the editorial process are carried out exclusively in the Open Journal Systems (OJS) electronic submission system. Only registered users can submit articles for consideration by the editorial office. To register in the system and create a new user account, please select the " Register" link in the top right corner of this page. If you already have an account, please click the "Login" link.

Authors and corresponding authors’ responsibilities
Authors must accept responsibilities. They must designate a corresponding author for your submission if your article has multiple authors.
The corresponding author is the one individual who assumes primary responsibility for the submitted manuscript, subsequent correspondence, any corrections, clarifications, and handling any other inquiries received before and after publication of an article.
Also, the authors bear full responsibility for the data they provide about themselves. Therefore, authors must submit the following information correctly: first and last names (surnames), department, affiliation, and country.

Before submission
The primary natures of publications are described as follows:
• Before submitting your article, please ensure that it is complete, grammatically correct, and free of spelling or other errors.
• The length of the manuscript or texts submitted for publication should be concise and complete. The manuscript submitted for publication should neither have been published elsewhere nor be under consideration for publication in another journal.
• Ensure that your article is authorised to use third-party images and other material subject to copyright by their respective owners.
• Article should reflect the originality of the research manuscript. The IJSSR may consider all original research manuscripts submitted from work reports scientifically sound, researchable, and reliable. It should provide enough new knowledge in the field of psychological studies. The authors are advised to split their work into unnecessary, similar manuscripts.
• Publications of case reports that can be published with detailed results are considered a single project. The case reports in the psychological studies context should be fully described and concluded, relevant to the scholarly audience.

The author must ensure that the article has proper authorization to use third-party images and other materials that are subject to copyright by/the respective owner.

After the article submission,

The authors will receive an email confirming their successful submission. From now on, the article must go through the following stages:

  • Editor' basic checking: Declining or sending for double-blind peer review
  • Double-blind peer-review,
  • Peer-reviewers' feedback 
  • Editors' decision/result
  • Editor's acceptance result/rejection decision
  • Attending reviewers' comments
