Article Processing Charges (APC)

  1. Article Processing Charges (APC)

As an open-access journal, all published articles are freely accessible to readers without subscription fees. To sustain the publication process, the IJSSR charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs of copyediting, publication, content deposit, and archiving.

Upon acceptance after peer review, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of $400 is applied. The IJSSR and GAERPSY cover the costs of copy-editing, formatting, publishing, content depositing (e.g., CrossRef DOI registration), and digital archiving.

There are no charges for article submission, editorial processing, or peer review.

  1. Payment Methods

Payment may be made via bank transfer. Detailed payment instructions, including banking information, will be provided in the invoice issued upon acceptance of the manuscript.

  1. Discount and Waiver Policy

The IJSSR is committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent the publication of quality research. The following discount and waiver provisions are available:

  • Financial Hardship: Authors who can demonstrate genuine financial hardship may apply for a full or partial waiver of the APC.
  • Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs): Authors from LMICs, as classified by the World Bank, may be eligible for reduced APCs.
  • Students and Early Career Researchers: Students and early career researchers may apply for a discounted APC upon providing valid proof of status.

Waiver and discount requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. APC waivers or discounts do not influence editorial decisions.

For information on refund eligibility and procedures, see the IJSSR Refund Policy.
