Refund Policy

The IJSPSY and GAERPSY Publishing have established the following refund policy to ensure transparency and fairness regarding Article Processing Charges (APC).

  1. General Principles

The APC covers the costs of copy-editing, publishing, content deposit, and archiving. There are no charges for article submission, editorial processing, or peer review. The APC is payable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication following the peer-review process.

  1. Refund Eligibility

Full Refund: A full refund of the APC will be issued if the journal cancels publication of an accepted article due to an internal error or an administrative oversight by the editorial team.

No Refund – Author Withdrawal After Layout: If an author withdraws a manuscript after the layout process has been completed, no refund will be issued. The APC paid will be used to cover the costs of the layout work already performed.

No Refund – Post-Publication Retraction: If an article is retracted after publication due to ethical violations, plagiarism, data fabrication, or other misconduct attributable to the author(s), no refund will be issued.

Partial Refund: At the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief and GAERPSY Publishing, a partial refund may be considered if an author withdraws a manuscript before the layout process has commenced, provided that reasonable grounds are presented.

  1. Refund Request Process

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to Publisher@gaerpsy.com and copied to Editor-ijspsy@gaerpsy.com. The request must include:

  • The manuscript title and submission reference number.
  • The reason for the refund request.
  • Proof of payment.

Refund requests will be reviewed within 15 working days, and the applicant will be notified of the outcome in writing.

  1. Exceptions

In exceptional circumstances (e.g., documented financial hardship, force majeure), GAERPSY Publishing may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. All decisions by GAERPSY Publishing regarding refunds are final.
