Discount and Waiver Policy

GAERPSY Publishing is committed to ensuring that publication opportunities remain accessible to authors regardless of their financial circumstances. However, as per the following policy,  GAERPSY Publishing offers Article Processing Charge (APC) discounts and waivers to support authors.

Eligibility for discounts and waivers
Financial hardship
Authors who experience genuine financial challenges may apply for a partial or full APC waiver.
Low- and middle-income countries (LMICs)
Authors based in countries classified by the World Bank as low- or lower-middle-income may be eligible for APC discounts or full waivers.
Students and early career researchers
Authors’ requests from postgraduate students and early career researchers without sufficient funding may also be considered.

Special cases
The editorial board may grant waivers in exceptional circumstances at its discretion.

Application process
Authors must submit a formal request for an APC discount or waiver at the time of manuscript submission or immediately after acceptance.
Author (s)’ request must be addressed to the  GAERPSY Publishing at Publisher@gaerpsy.com and copied to the Journal Secretariat at Editor-ijspsy@gaerpsy.com.
The request should briefly explain the financial challenge, institutional affiliation, country of residence, and any supporting documentation (if available).

Decision and notification
All applications will be reviewed case-by-case by the  GAERPSY Publishing in consultation with the Journal Secretariat.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome within 10 working days of submitting their request.
Waivers or discounts will not influence editorial decisions, which remain entirely independent and based on the quality and relevance of the submitted work.

Transparency and confidentiality
All waiver applications are handled in strict confidence.
Decisions regarding APC discounts and waivers are made transparently and fairly, in alignment with  GAERPSY Publishing’s mission to promote inclusive scholarly publishing.

Policy review
This policy is subject to periodic review and may be updated to reflect changes in publishing practices, global economic conditions, and institutional partnerships.
