At GAERPSY Publishing, the IJSIE upholds the highest standards of ethical publishing practices. As part of the commitment to transparency, integrity, and accountability, the journal adopts and adheres to the principles set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity.
1. Editorial Decision-Making
Neutrality and Equality: The IJSIE makes editorial decisions based exclusively on the merit and relevance of the submitted content, without any prejudice towards the authors, their affiliations, their origin, or any other external factors.
Peer Review Process: All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process by experts in the field, certifying the quality and validity of the research at the IJSIE.
Transparency: The journal maintains transparency in the decision-making process by clearly documenting the peer review reports and editorial handling process, providing authors with constructive feedback, and ensuring confidentiality throughout.
2. Editorial Board and Reviewers
Competence and Expertise: The IJSIE ensures that editorial board members and reviewers possess the necessary expertise, experience, and qualifications to provide fair, impartial, and constructive assessments of submissions.
Confidentiality and Anonymity: The journal maintains confidentiality regarding the content of submissions, the identities of authors, reviewers, and editorial board members, and any other confidential information obtained during the review process.
3. Editorial Independence
The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board have full authority and independence in making editorial decisions. GAERPSY Publishing does not interfere with the editorial decision-making process. Editorial decisions are not influenced by commercial interests, advertising, or any external pressures.
4. Transparency with Article Processing Charges
The IJSIE provides clear information about applicable Article Processing Charges (APCs), ensuring fee structure transparency. Publication fees are clearly specified. After peer review and acceptance of the article, an invoice will be issued with all required payment details. APC payment has no influence on editorial decisions.
5. Corrections and Retractions
The IJSIE is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. The journal will promptly issue corrections (errata) for errors that do not affect the integrity of the work, and will retract articles that are found to contain unreliable findings, plagiarism, or unethical research, in accordance with COPE retraction guidelines.
